I have many years experience as a therapist working from GP surgeries as well as privately, with both young people and adults. I am a warm and approachable person and adaptable in my therapy techniques. I believe we are all unique individuals and tailor my therapy to your needs. I work privately from my home near the seaside with clients who may initially be experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and working collaboratively we explore and work through what the underlying issues may be together, helping you to find a way forward more positively.

Person Centred Counselling
Is a talking therapy. Believing that by talking, sharing, listening, exploring, thinking together, and making links, that change and growth will develop. Helping to restore emotional well being and help overcome life’s problems and challenges together.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Is an evidence based therapy focusing on how our thoughts link to how we feel and behave. By breaking into the negative cycle, breaking it down into manageable chunks, techniques are provided to help to think more positively and find a more beneficial way forward.

Relaxation/Mindfulness
Mindfulness/relaxation - offers ways of relaxing your mind and being in touch with the present moment and the environment around us. Great for relieving stress and boosting mood.
